Anti-aging / Anti -Wrinkle  creams are predominantly moisturizer-based cosmeceutical skin care products marketed with the promise of making the consumer look younger by reducing, masking or preventing signs of skin aging. These signs are laxity (sagging), rhytids (wrinkles), and photo aging, which includes erythema (redness), dyspigmentation (brown discolorations), solar elastosis (yellowing), keratoses (abnormal growths), and poor texture.

I used ingredients that would do what was necessary to go to combat, such as: Coconut Oil, Almond Oil, Beeswax, Shea Butter, Vitamin E, K, A, & D,UV Blockers, Carrot Seed, Sandlewood, Patchouli & Ylang Ylang Essential Oils.

  • Almond Oil:  Has Vitamin E and K which is good for circulation. It is also a UV blocker which  works as a sunscreen.
  • Coconut Oil:  It is moisturizing and keeps your skin hydrated by repairing itself. Antioxident, Vitamin E, Lauric Acid (Has moisturizing abilities, and is also recognized as an acne fighter thanks to its anti-microbial properties )  UV blocker.
  • Beeswax:   Carries antiviral, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial properties that are essential in fighting chapped skin and bacterial infections that tend to affect us most in the dry, winter months. It forms a protective wall by sealing in moisture in our skin without smothering and clogging up the pores.
  • Vitamin E Oil:  Blocks UV and free radical damage, speeds up cell regeneration, boosts          collagen production.
  • Shea Butter:  Best for pores, (Non clogging) UV Blocker, Vitamin A, E, & D.
  • Essential Oils: They have many uses depending on desired scent and functionality.
  • Carrot Seed Oil:  Antioxidant, carotenoids, UV blocker, detoxifies.
  • Sandlewood:  Sooths damaged skin, fades lines, scars, and wrinkles.
  • Patchouli:  Antiseptic, Astringent, Anti-Inflammatory, prevents skin from sagging, removes toxins.
  • Ylang Ylang:  Anti-inflammatory, Sebum balancing, antiaging, antiseptic, great for acne.  Antioxidants are substances that may protect cells from the damage caused by unstable molecules known as free radicals. The studies so far are inconclusive, but generally don’t provide strong evidence that antioxidant supplements have a substantial impact on disease. Sunscreens provide a high level of UVA protection against the effects of UVA radiation, such as wrinkles.
  • Directions:
Give the product time to work: A moisturizing cream can plump up fine lines in a few days, but most products take at least 6 weeks to work. Sometimes it can take up to 3 months. Be patient and give the product time to work. Continue using, if you want to continue seeing results: People often stop using a product once they see results. Take a pea size amount of your anti-ageing cream and place small dots around your eyes, face and neck. Gently glide into skin from the inside and outwards, then lightly tap and massage in an upwards-motion. Give the cream time to thoroughly soak into the skin before applying makeup. I usually spray facial hydrating mist right out of the shower, then apply hyaluronic serum, then this product for the moisturizing process...

New Scent ---Strawberry- Ingredients:  Hyaluronic Acid, Coconut Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Beeswax, Shea Butter, Vitamin E, K, A, & D,UV Blockers, Carrot Seed Oil, Sandlewood, Patchouli & Strawberry Essential Oils.

The reason for the added Hyaluroinc Acid is due to when used topically, Hyaluronic Acid acts as a potent humectant, suctioning moisture from the environment, much like a vacuum rapidly sucking in air. By binding with water molecules, it moisturizes and boosts hydration, causing the skin to look smooth, refreshed, and dewy. When used together with occlusive ingredients, it also reduces transepidermal water loss (TEWL), or the gradual evaporation of moisture from the skin. In other words, HA can be a powerful agent in attracting moisture to the skin and trapping it in, thereby increasing and maintaining healthy hydration levels. One of the other well-known effects of Hyaluronic Acid is the improvement in the topical appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and other visible signs of aging. A common sign of aging is the appearance of dull, dry, rough skin that is also lacking in volume. One of the reasons behind this is the gradual loss of our skin's ability to maintain moisture and regulate hydration levels; the production of HA within the epidermis, in particular, is thought to decrease significantly. Dry skin is one of the major causes of the superficial signs of skin aging. While the topical application of HA cannot 'erase' wrinkles, it can boost hydration levels effectively and drastically, which helps to fill in the look of fine lines and loss of volume and actually make the skin look softer and younger.
